Classy is Now GoFundMe Pro

Classy was rebranded to GoFundMe Pro in May 2025. The branding, ownership, and public-facing docs now live under GoFundMe's Pro umbrella.

A few things to note about the rebranded offering:

  1. GoFundMe Pro offers a “Donor Covered Fees” feature. Their help center describes it here. This is the honest pattern where the donor can opt to cover the platform fee so the nonprofit receives the full gift — different from the tip model GoFundMe's consumer product uses.
  2. Pricing restructured. GoFundMe Pro now has an Essentials tier at $0 subscription for nonprofits under $1M revenue, and a Custom tier for larger organizations. Per-transaction fees are not published on the pricing page. Classy's old $299+/month public pricing is gone.
  3. Classy's existing customers were migrated. If you were a Classy customer before May 2025, your account is now a GoFundMe Pro account and your billing, data, and integrations were migrated over. Check your GoFundMe Pro dashboard to confirm the migration completed cleanly.

GoFundMe Pro (formerly Classy) is a reasonable choice for mid- to large-size nonprofits that want a traditional enterprise platform with managed onboarding. GiveLink is built for a different audience — nonprofits that want transparent public pricing, Coordinator weekly briefing, Stewardship suggestions, and coming-soon public API/MCP access.
