Director suite reference

Review the play settings, major-gift prospect fields, donor briefings, board packets, and task types in the Director suite.

The Director suite turns giving and relationship records into staff work for major gifts, mid-level donors, and board stewardship. Its plays create tasks and in-app records. They do not contact donors automatically.

If the suite is unavailable for your organization, its cards and pages appear locked. Your existing agent activity remains unchanged. An organization administrator can review plan access in Billing.

Fundraising play settings

Open Agents, then Settings, to review fundraising plays in three groups.

GroupWork included
Retention & stewardshipFirst-gift, welcome, second-gift, lapsed-donor, event, fatigue, and sensitive-gift work
Monthly givingMonthly conversion, checkout, failed-payment, and anniversary work
Director suiteMajor-donor flagging, stale next-move alerts, board thank-you packets, and mid-level reviews

Each play card shows whether the play is enabled, its autonomy mode, and any daily action or cost cap. A safety pause overrides the enabled setting until the underlying rule is cleared. Reset to defaults restores the server-owned defaults for that play.

Director-suite plays are disabled by default. When enabled, they create staff tasks in suggestion mode. The current release does not send donor-facing messages from these four plays.

Major-gift prospects

Open Agents, then Prospects, to manage the major-gift portfolio. You can add a donor manually, or the major-donor flagging play can add a candidate from giving evidence.

Each prospect can also have a relationship owner and an A, B, or C priority. The G12 snapshot preserves the last-12-month giving evidence captured when the prospect was detected.

Moves and stale alerts

A New move creates a substantive major_gift_move task linked to the donor. The stale next-move play creates a staff alert when an active prospect has no open move, has a move more than seven days overdue, or has an undated move more than 14 days old. Snoozed moves still count as open until the snooze expires.

Donor briefings

Generate briefing creates a one-page brief grounded in the donor record. It can use recorded gifts, notes, affiliations, tags, and communication subject lines. Missing facts stay unknown rather than being inferred. The newest briefing appears in the prospect queue and on the donor profile; earlier briefings remain in history.

Board thank-you packets

The board-packet play runs each Monday using a seven-day UTC lookback. It selects up to five donors using a stable order and keeps the largest qualifying gift for each donor.

A gift qualifies when it reaches the organization's configured threshold, which defaults to $250. A first gift can qualify at the lower default threshold of $100. Once the weekly packet is created, it is final for that UTC ISO week; later gifts do not append extra cards.

Each card includes the donor, gift, short context, call guidance, and a linked board_thank_you task. Staff can record Reached, Left message, No answer, or Skip. The packet can also be exported as a PDF. The first release assigns the work to staff; it does not maintain a board-member roster.

Director-suite task types

All five task types target a donor record. Open them from the Tasks inbox or from the related prospect and packet pages.
