Payment Processing Fees
These are Stripe's standard nonprofit rates, passed through at cost. GiveLink does not mark up processing fees.

Save with ACH. A $1,000 donation costs $22.30 to process via card but only $5.00 via ACH. Encourage bank transfers for major gifts to maximize what your organization keeps.
Cover the Fee
Donors can optionally cover both the Stripe processing fee and GiveLink's 1% platform fee at checkout. When they do, your nonprofit receives 100% of the intended gift.

The "free" platform trap. Zeffy and Givebutter advertise as "free for nonprofits" but pre-select a 15-17% donor tip at checkout. On a $100 donation, your donor may unknowingly pay $115-$117. That is not free — the cost is just hidden from you and shifted to your supporters. GiveLink charges a transparent 1% so your donors are never surprised.
